Hi, I'm Jemimah — the founder and creative director of Moments by Design. I'm a Vancouver-based event designer who creates beautiful, intentional spaces for some of life's most meaningful moments.
Event décor has been part of my world for years — bridal showers, birthdays, corporate events, anniversaries. Through every single one, the best part has always been the same: watching someone walk into a space created just for them.
Moments by Design was born from my own proposal in 2025. It was unexpected, beautiful, and it stayed with me long after the moment passed. It reminded me how much a thoughtfully designed space can mean. It's not just décor — it becomes part of your story.

We recommend booking at least 4–6 weeks in advance to ensure your preferred date and vendors are available. For peak dates — Valentine's Day, holidays, and summer weekends — 8–12 weeks is ideal. That said, we always do our best to accommodate last-minute requests, so reach out even if you're working with a tight timeline.
No — we're based in Vancouver but work across BC, throughout Canada, and internationally. Whether you're planning a proposal in Banff, New York, Paris, or Santorini, we coordinate everything remotely and on the ground. Travel fees may apply for destinations outside the Lower Mainland.
Not a thing. Discretion is a core part of what we do. We communicate only with you throughout the planning process. On the day, our team handles all logistics in the background — you simply arrive at the right time and place. We keep the secret as carefully as you do.
